The Wine

The most encouraging aspect to date is the quality of the wines produced at Aussie Vineyards. The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon the stand out performer of the Australian Small Wine Makers Show with one of only 2 gold medals and the champion Cabernet Sauvignon out of 88 entries from every state.

Additionally, the trophy winner for the best white wine of the show with a chardonnay at the QLD Wine Awards came from Henty Estate. These awards when added to several bronze and silver medals received for other varieties, confirms the potential for premium wines.
